goalsettingWhen you start thinking about your 2015 goals, you have got to write them down. Generally worded
goals are not going to get you where you want to go. You must get specific. “I want to loose weight”,
or “I want to make $X extra dollars with a part time job” or “I want to grow my current team by Y
members by the end of the year” are not going to cut it.  Get specific with your goals, “I will loose 21
pounds in the next 90 days” or “I want to start a new online business and make an extra $12k in the next 12
months” or “I plan to expand my current team by 39% by the end of the 2nd quarter”. Now you have
specific goals you can create a daily action plan to achieve.

Chances are you will need to change things up in your life to reach these goals. Are there routines in your
life that will need to change? There is no way you are going to be able to change your results, if you are
unwilling or unable to change some of the dependencies you have now. Will this finally be the year you
change your routines? What can/will you change? What is it you really need ? Do you need to change your
associations, or the way you think about weight loss or simply need to get better educated about specific
topics related to your goals?

Have you ever really looked at why you want to hit these goals ? Why is this so important to you? OR, IS it that important to you ? In order to achieve your goals, you may need to be able to understand the real reason they are important to you.

I’m sure you’ve been asked before why to want what you want. Lets ask the question from a different perspective….Who do you see yourself as in 2015? Why is it important to you to become the person you want to grow into? If you can see yourself getting to where you want to go, you have a much better chance
of actually getting there. How do you want the world to see and describe this new you ? If you can see yourself at the end of this years journey, getting there should be a lot easier task.

What happend last year does not count. Yes, as you create and write down your goals for 2015, take a moment to look back at 2014 and try to picture what goals you did not accomplish last year and why. Did you simply try to reinvent 2013 all over again, expecting different results ? Same thing as you did in 2012?  Expecting different results from the same actions is a plan to fail. Are you still hanging out with the same crowd as 20xx? Are you still not asking the right people for help? It does not matter if you are trying to loose weight, build a new business or quit smoking, if you have not changed any of these things, you will never get the results you are looking for. Period.

Are you ready to give up on your dreams? If you do not hit your 2015 goals, are you willing to quit? Seriously? Do not ever forget why you started! Is the cost of not succeeding a reason to put your dreams aside or a reason to finally get serious in 2016 ?

My wish for you is that you are able to write down your goals for 2015, make a daily plan, find a mentor, change up in your life any, and every, thing which might be holding you back, and kick to the side any fears and any objections in order to reach your 2015 goals !
